Q8. Why is my pa120-a miniature hot clamp not working?
Q9. Why I use lead-free solder, my tip is black, and it is difficult to cover tin material.
Q1. How many solder joints can the JBC's iron tip work?
This is not sure. Depending on the geometry and size of the soldering tip, the temperature set by the iron, solder wire, the use of flux, and personal use habits changes.
But it is usually used between 25,000 and 100,000 solder joints.
Q2. How and when do I need to use the soldering tip reducer?
The tip reducer is a chemical cleaning method that can be cleaned at the same time and filled with tin at the end of the iron.
It should only be used when using sponge, brass tip clean wire ball cleaning failure, but you still need a very strong cleaning method when the alternative method.
Q3. I want to change the iron core at any time, need to choose different welding temperature?
It is not needed. But you can freely choose any soldering iron core at any temperature, the required welding temperature can easily be locked at the set temperature.
Q4. My hot clamps are worn and the other one is still available. Do I need to buy two pcs at a time?
It is not needed.
You need to use two hot-clip iron cores at the same time to operate PA120-A and HT420-A hot clamps, but they can be purchased separately.
Q5. If I need a special soldering iron core specification that does not exist within the soldering iron core, can I inquire?
It is OK.
JBC Prototype product developers will continue to develop special soldering iron core specifications according to customer requirements.
Q6. How do I know what kind of welding fixture to match with what kind of control host?
You can view the product range diagram for the combined machine species.
According to the welding tool you need to choose the matching welding fixture and control host.
Q7. When I order a solder soldering iron, is the vacuum module included?
It is not included. Vacuum modules are purchased separately so you can decide to purchase an electronic or pneumatic vacuum module in accordance with your own needs.
But if you buy a DDST/DDVT duplex repair station (containing DD dual welding control host) or RMST Universal Repair Station (containing DD dual welding control host) or DIS/DIV/DSS vacuum soldering wire solution Welding Station (with DI single welding control host) or CS/CV vacuum precision welding station, will contain an electronic or pneumatic vacuum module.
Q8. Why is my PA120-A miniature hot clamp not working? Make sure the hot clamp iron core is properly aligned and tightened. There is a small grub screw locked in the top of the hot clamp iron core.
If not properly tightened, the pad will be treated as an open circuit, so the hot clamp iron core will warm up.
Q9. I use lead-free solder, my iron tip is black, and it is difficult to covering tin material.
The silver composition, the excess flux and the high iron tip temperature will cause the welding process to produce some dirty material, resulting in the deposition of silver oxide and charred fluxes on the end.
When the iron tip no longer has the effect of covering tin, please make sure to use the lowest temperature, and then use the core reducing agent (REF:TT-A) to wipe your tips frequently.
